Catlin establishes speciality in Construction and Engineering Insurance
LONDON - Catlin Group Limited (‘Catlin’), the international property and casualty insurer and reinsurer, announces that it now offers specialist expertise in Construction and Engineering insurance to clients.
The Construction and Engineering coverage will be underwritten by the Catlin Syndicate at Lloyd’s, one of the 10 largest syndicates operating in the Lloyd’s marketplace. Catlin’s Construction and Engineering team is led by Paul Latimer, a qualified civil engineer with 10 years of experience in the construction insurance industry who joined Catlin in June 2004 as a class underwriter.
Catlin’s Construction and Engineering team specialises in underwriting privately financed Civil, Structural and Mechanical Engineering related risks, either on a project or an annual basis. While the team focuses on UK/European business, it underwrites coverage for clients worldwide.

Catlin UK (the UK Branch of Catlin Insurance Company Ltd.). Catlin UK, which began underwriting with effect from 1 January 2004, writes commercial property, general liability, professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability and crime insurance for UK clients.
