The Catlin Contingency team is primarily focused on film and
event cancellation business for trade shows, sport and
entertainment events. The account has traditionally been focused
upon continental European and North American business, but can
accept business emanating from across the globe.

After graduating from Leicester University, Robert began his career in Lloyd's at G.E. Lloyd-Roberts and Others (Syndicate 55) as an underwriting assistant on the personal accident account. During the course of seven years, Robert assumed an increasing amount of underwriting authority and became recognised as a leader in the class. Robert joined CUAL in 1999 as class underwriter for the personal accident account. He began underwriting the contingency account for CUAL in 2003.

Underwriter
David graduated from Southampton University with a BSc in Management Sciences and an MSc in Risk Management. He joined Catlin in 2002 as an underwriting assistant on the personal accident and contingency accounts. He was appointed assistant underwriter on these accounts in 2006.
