Catlin Insurance Company Ltd. of Bermuda encompassed both Catlin Bermuda and Catlin UK for the 2004 financial year. During 2004, Catlin UK operated as the UK Branch of Catlin Insurance Company Ltd. and, as such, does not have separate financial accounts. In March 2005, the UK Financial Services Authority approved the establishment of Catlin Insurance Company (UK) Ltd as a subsidiary of Catlin Insurance Company Ltd. This new company began trading as Catlin UK with effect from 1 May 2005.
