Catlin is one of the leading Upstream Energy underwriters in Lloyd’s and has written an Energy account since 1985. The account is predominantly written on a facultative basis in Lloyd’s. Reinsurance business is written, normally on a fac basis, where required by local legislation or due to the involvement of a captive.
The Singapore/Labuan office writes approximately 8.5% of the book, with small contributions from the Toronto and Sydney offices.
