Catlin UK underwrites Commercial Crime coverage for UK financial institutions. While coverage can be written on a standalone basis, we often write crime coverage in combination with Professional Indemnity and Directors’ and Officers’ Liability coverage.
Catlin UK also underwrites Commercial Crime coverage for small to medium size UK companies; we can also provide coverage for larger UK companies on an excess basis.
Catlin UK prefers to lead the crime coverage it underwrites. We have capacity to underwrite 100% of most risks.
Underwriter
Helen graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in Business Economics in 2005. She joined the broking firm RK Harrison after graduation before moving Catlin in November 2006 as an underwriting assistant for the financial institutions team. In December 2007 Helen progressed to assistant underwriter.
Underwriter
Terry started in the insurance industry in 1970 with Eagle Star plc. He joined the Lloyd’s market in 1989 at the RC Barber Syndicate where was deputy underwriter. He joined Independent Insurance Company in 1994, where he was financial institutions underwriting manager, and later joined The Underwriter Insurance Company in a similar role. Terry joined Catlin in December 2003 as a class underwriter.
