Catlin is in the business of managing insurance risk transferred from our policyholders and investment-related risks arising from the significant assets held on behalf of both policyholders and shareholders.

These are the risks we take commercially. These risks are compounded by the risks arising from external forces outside the Group’s direct control, such as those posed by economic uncertainty. Furthermore, there is risk associated with the delivery and execution of the Group’s strategy.

Catlin has a robust risk and control framework which is designed to address all of the Group’s material risks.
