Sponsorship

As well as donating to charitable causes, we offer sponsorship to certain organisations that we truly believe will really benefit from our support and which also help us to achieve our vision for our business.

For us, sponsorship is not simply a marketing exercise. We actively work with the organisations we sponsor to help both parties achieve their goals.

Art Catlin

ArtCatlinThe Catlin Art Prize is an annual competition sponsored by Catlin which showcases the work of recent UK art graduates. Finalists are selected from The Catlin Guide, a showcase which features the 40 most promising graduate artists in the UK. Works created by finalists for the Catlin Art Prize are exhibited in London each spring at a special gallery event.

The Catlin Art Prize is unique as it provides the artists with the time and opportunity to develop their practice. They are each commissioned to produce a new body of work to be exhibited one year on from their respective degree shows, encouraging them to explore new ideas. The winning artist receives a monetary prize as well as considerable recognition within the field.

The Catlin Guide is compiled from more than 500 recommendations from BA and MA course leaders, independent curators, galleries and collectors. The 40 chosen artists are profiled in The Catlin Guide.

Catlin China partners with Alex Hua Tian

Catlin China is pleased to be working with Chinese Three Day Eventer Alex Hua Tian. Alex hit the headlines in China after he qualified to be the first ever Chinese Three Day Event rider at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. At just 18 years old, when he qualified, this made him the youngest Olympian to take part at Beijing, and gave him a world ranking of 21.

Catlin Equine Insurance is teaming up with Alex because as a horse owner and professional rider, he knows all too well the value and importance of Equine Insurance, having lost his best horse in a freak accident in the run-up to the Beijing Olympics.

If you are interested in following Alex Hua Tian’s progress you can do this via his website http://alexhuatian.co.uk/en/.
