Reporting directly to London, the role of our Japan Representative Office is principally the gathering and offering of information regarding the insurance and reinsurance business and other activities relating to the industry. We aim to strengthen our existing group relationships in the Japanese market.
Underwriting of Japanese business can be conducted in London, Bermuda and through Catlin Asia Pacific underwriting offices. Our book of business in Japan focuses on: Treaty Reinsurance, General Liability, Political Risk, Terrorism & War, Specie and Fine Art, Marine, Property and Japanese Interests Abroad (JIA).
