Catlin began writing US professional liability insurance through its Lloyd’s ‘Syndicate 2003’ in 2006 and has established itself as a significant lead in the London Market.
We specialise in cover for the following professions:
- Lawyers professional liability including employed or “in-house” lawyers for firms of a maximum of 100 attorneys

- Miscellaneous professional service providers
Under Syndicate 2003, Catlin does not insure the following: financial institutions or financial advisors including insurance companies, actuaries, medical or healthcare organisations or laboratories.
Financial, healthcare and medical risks are underwritten through separate product lines.
