Energy Liability
The Energy Liability account focuses on third party liabilities associated with midstream and upstream Energy companies.
Examples of these would be liability derived from pipelines, gathering stations, wells, platforms, mobile rigs and offshore construction projects. The book is written predominantly on an excess basis. The majority of risks are based in the USA but clients from around the world are also covered.
Risks are written on both a direct and reinsurance basis, mainly from our London office but we can also write business from our offices around the world.
Coverage
We provide third liability coverage for midstream and upstream energy companies. The Coverage we provide is usually on a ‘claims made’ basis in respect of onshore risks and both ‘claims made’ and ‘occurrence’ for offshore risks.
