Art Catlin

2012 Catlin Art Prize winner, Julia Vogl

Art Catlin is a programme set-up, managed and funded by Catlin and its art team, which helps young graduate artists get a foothold in the industry and offers a single touch-point for the art industry as a whole.

The highlight of the programme is the Catlin Art Prize, which has been unearthing and rewarding new talent since its inception in 2007. Each year Art Catlin curator Justin Hammond scours graduate art shows around the UK for the best emerging artists, 40 of whom are selected to appear in the exclusive Catlin Guide - a limited edition collection of artist profiles.

From the finalists profiled in the Guide, a shortlist is compiled and the winner announced in May. The Art Prize winner receives £5,000 towards developing their future as an artist.
