How to succeed

Here are our top tips for making a successful application for the Catlin graduate programme.

Your application

  • demonstrate why you are applying to Catlin and your chosen specialism
  • review the descriptions of our key competencies and values and use your covering letter to demonstrate to us how you support these
  • review your application before submission ensuring that there are no grammatical errors
  • submit your CV and covering letter in advance of our deadline. We cannot accept applications after this date.

Interviews

  • take the time to research our company and be prepared to answer questions on who we are and what we do
  • review the descriptions of our key competencies and values and think of examples from your education, work experience or personal life of where you have demonstrated these
  • if you are at telephone interview stage, ensure you are available at the pre- agreed time and in an environment conducive to an interview
  • if you are coming to our London offices, arrive with plenty of time to spare – do not put yourself in a stressful position by arriving late for your interview
  • think of questions to ask us– an interview should always be a two way process
  • dress for the interview in an appropriate manner – we work in a professional environment and expect all employees to recognise this by dressing accordingly.
