The Life team was established in 2009 through Syndicate 3002 at Lloyd's and is focused on developing UK and international Life reinsurance solutions on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our leading Accident and Health proposition.
The team have extensive experience in the life market, having worked with direct writers and reinsurance companies over the last 20 years. We look to utilise this experience to enable us to work closely with the market, listen to the needs of brokers and clients, and deliver the quality of solutions you have come to expect from Catlin.

Contingency - Film & Events

Aquaculture reinsurance
Aquaculture has become of increasing importance due to the rapid growth of fish farming globally and a risk profile that is constantly evolving due to climate change, farming of new species and technological development.
The Aquaculture underwriting team provides solutions tailored for offshore and onshore farms, growout operations and hatcheries in respect of finfish, crustacea and shellfish.
Livestock reinsurance
Our Livestock underwriting teams are specialist providers of new and creative risk solutions for any animal raised for profit, including production animals and high valued exotics and aquatics such as pandas, dolphins and orcas.
We can cover all livestock in situ or in transit. Our maximum line size is US$1million for any one animal and US$10million for any one farm.
